Make-up Tips

Here are some of the make-up tips or tricks you can say, that have helped me so I thought why not share them. Now, these aren't the cliche ones that everyone is tired of hearing over and over again so here we go:

Fixing a clumpy mascara:
Most of the mascaras dry out before giving us a fair share of what we paid for and start to form clumpy lashes which are the most unattractive makeup disaster. To keep this mishap from happening, don't pump your mascara to try to get more on the wand, all this will do is let air through resulting in a dry mascara.
In case, the mascara dries out, add 1-2 drops of any eye-drops available into the tube and rub around the wand, which will soften the mascara liquid. Don't add too much drops which will make the mascara runny and spoil it.
If the wand has clumps of mascara on it, place it under warm running water until the water is clear. Besides, a mascara should be replaced every 4-5 months.

Making a pencil eyeliner have gel-like formula:
Most eyeliners are hard to apply or turn stubborn over time. For easier application, hold your eyeliner under a flame for a second and then let it cool down for about 20 seconds. You'll notice the change in consistency and the smudgier formula on your first glide.

Easy ways to exfoliate your lips:
I had no idea that we should exfoliate our lips too but there are quite easy ways to do so and it makes a massive difference. You can gently rotate a toothbrush with gentle bristles on your lips and then apply petroleum jelly or a lip balm. This may be a bit harsh on your lips if used for a long time or in an inappropriate way so an easier and more effective way is to make a home-made exfoliate with  sugar and coconut oil/petroleum jelly.

Tight-lining:
What is tight-lining? It's a smallest thing that adds quite a bit of definition to your eyes without making it obvious that you are wearing any makeup. This is a perfect add-up to any no-makeup look. All you have to do is apply liner only in your above lash line. It may not sound much but you'll see the difference when you apply it.
